Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
